TexasDPSrecord.com can deliver multiple certified driving record types including the Type 3A certified driving record, which is needed for defensive driving completion. The other certified driving records we provide include: Type 1 driving record, Type 2 driving record, Type 3 driving record, Type 2A driving record and type AR driving record.
The certified driving record you receive from Texas DPS record will be a password protected PDF. The password to open this is your drivers license number. Once you open the file, you can print it and take it with you to the court.
When you get a traffic violation (ticket) in the State of Texas, the court of jurisdiction for the ticket will ask you to submit a certified copy of your driver record in addition to your defensive driving (driver safety) certificate of completion. This driving record includes your driving history for the last three (3) years as well as include any defensive driving participation within the last 12 months. The court wants to make sure your HAVE NOT participated in defensive driving int he last 12 months since you are only eligible for defensive driving / ticket dismissal once every 12 months. If the driving record you receive does NOT show any defensive driving participation in the last 12 months, this is exactly what the court wants to see.
*Rush processing available during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 10-7 CST). In very rare cases, (like State DPS maintenance) delivery of the driving record may take longer than an hour
